My First Sleepover
Samuel, last Saturday you spent your first night away from us.Since your dad and I have to go to Dallas for a night in a couple of weekends, we wanted you to be used to staying all night with Meme and Pawpaw. We knew you wouldn't have a hard time staying there, since you are with them so much. Daddy and I didn't want to get too far away from you, so we just went to Dee and Ronnie's house for a nice cookout and visit. We dropped you off at Meme's around 6:00 P.M. Mommy cried most of the way to Dee and Ronnie's. She called several times throughout the night. While you were at Meme and Pawpaw's house, you all played outside, read books, and played inside. Around midnight, Pawpaw called and said that you had finally fallen asleep. You didn't even cry a lot, Pawpaw just said you were whiney. It took you longer than we thought it would to fall asleep. Mommy did not sleep well at all. The next morning around 8:30, I had to go see you. You were still asleep. You were pretty clingy to us the rest of the day, but I know you loved your night with Meme and Pawpaw. Samuel, we are so proud of you. You need to be so thankful that you not only have your Dad and I that love you so much, but also your Meme and Pawpaw. They said they are ready for you to start staying a lot more. Hopefully, when Daddy and I have to go to Dallas, you will fall asleep a little earlier. Mommy and Daddy are still dreading the next time that we have to sleepover, but we know we're leaving you in great hands. We love you buddy!
The pictures are some that Meme took at your sleepover.
