So Far This Summer
Wow! I'm so far behind on the blog, I'm just going to combine events together that are just too cute not to mention. A couple weeks ago, Aunt Sara and Teralee came to visit. Samuel and Teralee just played in the house, because it was too hot to go outside. Teralee also got to try powdered donuts for the first time. She LOVED them! I try to let her try something new everytime she comes around..hehehe!! She was so funny. It was flashbacks from the chocolate chip cookie all over again. She was shoving the donuts in her mouth and eating the crumbs. It was too cute. Samuel, you also have been having fun riding the lawn mower (mow mower...as you call it) with Pawpaw Jeff. You have also been having tons of fun in the pool. You liked the pool last year, but I was worried that you might not like it this year. I was right, you don't like it, you LOVE it! I took you up there for the first time this summer while nobody was there except for me and Pawpaw. You were a little hesitant about getting in, but did and immediately started splashing water and laughing. Your favorite thing to do is jump off the side of the pool into mine or your daddy's arms. You look so precious in your little swimsuit we bought you. One day you were able to play with Kelsie and Haidyn in the pool. You guys all had a great time. You didn't want your daddy to pay attention to anyone but you! Another day this summer, a small rain shower cooled things down enough for us to be able to go out for a while. I decided to let you write on the front porch with sidewalk chalk. you thought this was too funny. When I started writing on the porch, you said, "Uh-oh." I was glad to hear you say this, because we are constantly having to watch you with your crayons. You like to "decorate" everything! You have had a pretty fun summer already, and the fun has just begun. Mommy is finally finished teaching summer school, so the next six weeks are all about you my precious boy! I'm looking forward to it!
